The Xiaomi 18 series flagships, expected to launch later this year, will offer users an exceptional photography experience.
According to Gizmochina, Xiaomi is developing a new product line called Xiaomi 18, expected to launch with four versions: Xiaomi 18, 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, and 18 Ultra. The Ultra version is likely to be introduced later this year, while the other three models are expected to be unveiled in September.
The latest information from leaker Digital Chat Station indicates that the entire Xiaomi 18 series will be equipped with a 200MP camera. Specifically, current prototypes of this product line all use a 200MP sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch size. Notably, these flagships will feature a dual 200MP camera system, marking a significant step forward in Xiaomi's photography strategy.
Previously, many reports also suggested that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max would feature two 200MP cameras on the back, including a main sensor and a periscope sensor. While the Xiaomi 17 already had a telephoto camera, rumors suggest the Xiaomi 18 will upgrade to a periscope lens with a 200MP sensor, promising superior zoom image quality compared to the previous generation.
Regarding the screen, the standard Xiaomi 18 is expected to slightly increase in size to 6.4 inches, compared to 6.3 inches on the Xiaomi 17. All three versions—Xiaomi 18, 18 Pro, and 18 Pro Max—will likely use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, while the Xiaomi 18 Ultra may be equipped with the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro variant.
